Medical District:
Created by an act of the General Assembly in January of 2003, The Illinois Medical District at Springfield was established to provide for the orderly creation, maintenance, development, and expansion of health care facilities and medical research / high technology parks in the region. The Chamber has continuously supported the work of the District and assisted with staffing and project management on the various activities of the District.
