Event Description: The Chamber along with several local businesses sponsor two Job & Career Fairs each year due to the overwhelming demand from job seekers looking for full, part-time, or seasonal work and/or changing careers. These job fairs provide members & non-members a cost-effective opportunity to find quality additions to their businesses and organizations. Prospective employees come from all over Sangamon County and central Illinois. Job seekers of all ages (high school students, college students and professionals) seeking a change and anyone interested in changing jobs or looking for a career attend this popular event. These job fairs have a common purpose: to allow companies to screen a large number of candidates in a short period of time.
