It is important for employers to monitor the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak and implement strategies to protect their workforce while ensuring continuity of operations whenever possible.  This page contains links to a variety of resources provided by the State of Illinois, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Illinois Department of Public Health, Sangamon County Department of Public Health, U.S. Small Business Administration and others.

State of Illinois Coronavirus (COVID-19) Response


Sangamon County Department of Public Health

  • Any questions, call the COVID-19 hotline a 217-321-2606. Calls are answered by health dept officials Monday - Friday: 8am - 4:30pm


US Small Business Administration

  • Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) is a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll.  SBA will forgive loans if all employees are kept on the payroll for eight weeks and the money is used for payroll, rent, mortgage interest, or utilities.  The Paycheck Protection Program will be available through June 30, 2020.
