Association Health Plan

The Chamber's Association Health Plan (AHP) aims to save members and their employees money, while giving them more options with their healthcare choices. This exclusive program provides chamber members with access to UnitedHealthcare's Level-Funded health plans at discounted rates.  These plans are UHC's most affordable health plans currently available in Illinois, designed specifically for small and mid-sized employers.

Program Highlights include:

• Exclusive 5% Chamber Discount – Groups receive a 5% discount below UHC’s base rates, with savings of up to 10% when dental and vision are bundled.
• Eligibility – Available to groups with as few as 2 enrolled employees (final rates determined by underwriting).
• Significant Savings – Healthy groups may see double-digit discounts compared to fully insured ACA plans.
• Shared Savings – Employers can earn back up to 50% of unused claim dollars at year-end.
• Flexible Options – Choose from more than 100 plan designs, ranging from lean HSA-compatible options to richer copay models—all with UHC’s broad national provider network.
• Ancillary Benefits – Choose from a menu of guaranteed-issue benefits including: dental, vision, life, disability, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity.

To qualify, you must be a member in good standing of The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce.
