Be an Intern or Apprentice in Sangamon County

If your degree program requires a learning experience or you're looking to start an apprenticeship, check out our job board below. Open internships and apprenticeships for a variety of industries are available from area employers looking to provide a learning experience.

There are multiple ways to search for opportunities:

• Toggle to Companies instead of Jobs if there's a particular employer you'd like to work for.
• Use the Filters to sort by location, employment type, and more.
• Use the search tool to sort by job title, specific skills (leadership, welding, etc) or enter an interactive prompt (I like to work outside with my hands) to see what jobs fit your interests.
• Upload your resume to be matched with openings that fit your skills and experience.

This FREE programming will help you build your professional skills and network while providing a unique window into young professional life in Sangamon County. Registration opens March 2027.
