For Educators

Bring the HR Department into the classroom. Our Resume, Prep, Mock Interview Lab is packaged curriculum for high school classrooms developed by our local HR professionals.

This material was designed specifically to gives students an understanding of how to apply for a job and what area recruiters are looking for and expecting when they review applicants.

The classes are designed to be taught by our HR professionals and come complete with a presentation, activity, worksheet, and leave behind documents. If you're interested in having any or all of the material presented to your class, simply fill out the request form below.

This program will begin with a pilot class in Fall 2026 and expanded access in Spring 2027 as capacity allows. Districts will be notified as their classes are able to access programming.

Class Options:

Resume Class
Our HR Professionals join you in the classroom to talk about how to construct a resume and cover letter, how to translate student employment and skills into relevant work history, how to utilize AI during this process. They’ll also talk about how the hiring process works, what they look for when reviewing resumes and applications.

Prep Class
Our HR Professionals cover to to research a company before an interview and what questions to ask during the process. They’ll also touch on current workforce expectations, skills students can work on now to increase employability. This session utilizes a Family Feud style game for students to participate in.

Mock Interviews
Our HR Professionals join students to discuss common interview questions and give students the opportunity to answer and then provide feedback on answers. This session is designed to exposure students to the process and build confidence in providing answers.

 

Curriculum is designed for a 45 minute class and requires access to a computer and projector. Please note in registration if your class is longer. Some classes do require pre-presentation work for which materials will be provided. Teachers will get worksheets ahead of time to print and receive a copy of the presentation for our HR professional will work off of.

For HR Professionals:

If you're passionate about hiring and want to give back to our local community, register to be a teacher of our RPM Lab sessions. You'll be notified when a teacher makes a request and if your schedule allows, you can opt to take it. Upon acceptance to the program, you'll be trained on the material before heading to the classroom. You'll also have the opportunity to share a little bit about your business and career opportunities with the students.
